Super Rare, Very Early 1 Gallon "Challenge Motor Oil" Oil Can With Oil Circa 1900's-1910's
If you know about old oil cans then you will know how rare this can is.
When we found this with some other lovely vintage motoring items we knew it was not one we had seen before and knew it was old.
Having researched it in more detail now it seems it dates from around the 1900’s- 1910’s and a similar albeit in slightly better condition one has recently sold at auction with H&H auctions in August 2020 (Lot 504) for £2,760 (inc. buyers premium) a truly great opportunity.
